The 2024 Annual Report of the Toni Piëch Foundation (TPF) is now available for download! Dive into the Foundation's work and impact over the past year, and explore the supported projects. 

CONSISTENT EFFORTS PAY OFF

Among our multi-annual grants, there were many notable achievements. The Correctiv project provided a first-of-its-kind analysis of governmental data on demolition cases in Switzerland. The City Energy Analyst has now users in over 70 countries and attracted also the interest of private companies. Together with Bauhaus Earth, three new publications have been released, including the comprehensive "Changemaker's Guide" for multi-stakeholder collaborations in cities. Also, all publications have been translated to English and Chinese. 

Of course, TPF has also engaged in several new exciting partnerships, like supporting the European Citizen's Campaign HouseEurope! and the creation of embodied carbon benchmarks by the Swiss energie-cluster.ch.

COLLABORATIVE ACTION IN FOCUS

In today's challenging global landscape, meaningful change  cannot be achieved in isolation. This is why creating momentum for coordinated global philanthropic action was one of the key objectives for 2024. TPF joined forces with several aligned foundations in launching a new philanthropic initiative for holistically tackling the Built Environment Transition across sectors and change levers. Further, in partnership with the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance, TPF convened key thought leaders and communicators to accelerate this transition by improving the narratives and storytelling around its benefits and the opportunity costs of delaying decisive action.
